International Category

Kirsty Harvey, Gemma Barnfield and Trina Rose were delighted to end their year with the best score so far and 5th place in the 12-14 trios.

Katherine Saunders performed a brave routine in her first ever FIG event and scored the highest score ever achieved by a member of the club but although unable to reach the finals in a very high standard of competition, shows great potential for next year.

The club is still going from strength to strength and head coach Debbie Saunders said “this was the highest standard ever seen at this competition and all the gymnasts can be very proud of their performance”

A huge thank you to all of the club who help make the event such a success, mention must go to Graeme Pow for his invaluable help. As well as Bev, Gary, Marie and Rosie who ran the warm up room so well.
